Vita:

TV and film work include RELATIVE STRANGERS, THE RECTOR'S WIFE and VANITY FAIR, as well as Peter Knox QC in Sky TV's nightly reconstruction of the politically controversial HUTTON INQUIRY.
Directing credits include TABLE MANNERS, BUILDING BLOCKS, BAREFOOT IN THE PARK, THE LESSON and THE MADNESS (Tennyson's MAUD), a one-man show for Kenneth Branagh, and AUDIENCE WITH MURDER at the Jermyn Street Theatre, London.
He is currently directing a new one-woman show for Pauline Gray called MY DEAR HOWEY, based on the letters of the first Countess Spencer of Althorp. With Roger Leach he wrote two stage comedies, ON YOUR HONOUR (EHRENWORT) and DOUBLE OR TWIN (DOPPELTE FREUDE), and a thriller, AUDIENCE WITH MURDER (MÖRDERGRUBE).
With David Gillespie he wrote the ghost thriller, SLEEP NO MORE (RUHELOSE SCHATTEN), and several comedies for television and radio. All German translations of Colin's plays are by Raymund Stahl.
With composer and musical director Kate Edgar he has written eight traditional English Christmas pantomimes (fully scripted shows for children - not to be confused with French or German Pantomime): MOTHER GOOSE (two versions), ALADDIN, CINDERELLA, THE SLEEPING BEAUTY, DICK WHITTINGTON, JACK AND THE BEANSTALK and ROBIN HOOD AND THE BABES IN THE WOOD (all commissioned and performed by Salisbury Payhouse); three smaller-scale family musicals: LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD, THE SLEEPING BEAUTY and PUSS IN BOOTS (all commissioned and performed by Winchester Theatre Royal). Nine of these titles are published by Josef Weinberger Plays. Colin and Kate have also had three musicals commissioned for performance by schools and youth groups: DRAGON FIRE, WITCHWOOD and RUN, RABBIT RUN!
